Whalewatching around Madeira - July 2025

July started wind very strong winds, especially on the east side of Madeira which did not allow much whalewatching activity around there in the first week but in more protected sides of the island there were still good chances to spot these majestical cetaceans:

Short-finned pilot whale Globicephala macrorhynchus
Common Bottlenose dolphin Tursiops truncatus
Risso's dolphin Grampus griseus

Striped dolphin Stenella coeruleoalba
